Sea Cliff is an incorporated village in Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County.
“Contract for the sale of real property,” 11/7/1947: provision “5. No race or nationality other than Caucasian shall use or occupy any portion of the premises or any building now or hereafter erected thereon. This covenant shall not, however, prevent the occupancy of the premises or any such building by domestic servants employed by the owner of the premises or a tenant thereof.”
1990: 4,864 total, 92 blacks. The blacks include lots of adolescent males (prep school?), some probable live-in maids. The 92 do include 3 married couples with no children (servants?), 1 male with child(ren), and 1 female with child(ren). Only 5 families of any kind.
